As part of the KHOTWA project, funded by the European Union and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development (AECID), which aims to promote regional integration in the Maghreb and strengthen the role of the only coordinating platform for human rights organizations existing in North Africa, the Coordination Maghrébine des Organisations des Droits Humains (CMODH), NOVACT and the CMODH, organize a training of trainers in Algeria during the weekend of 11, 12 and 13th December.
This training will gather together 40 human rights defenders from Algeria, Mauritania, Morocco and Tunisia, in order to create a network of expert trainers in the field of mobilization campaigns and public awareness in the Maghreb region.
During the months of February, March and April 2016, this network will organize four trainings in Algeria, Mauritania, Morocco and Tunisia in profit of social movements and associations responsible of carrying out awareness campaigns related to the regional integration of the Maghreb and the human rights culture in the region.
