In collaboration with the Fundació Autònoma Solidària, NOVACT organizes the training: Prevention of Violent Extremism and Social Polarization; it will be held in person and will take place during the month of March.

The workshop will consist of six sessions where it will analyse the rise of fanatical, ultra-nationalist movements and extreme right-wing ideologies that, in addition to gaining popularity and institutional representation, highlight racism through their speeches.

Therefore, the aim is to provide tools to prevent violent extremism and social polarization in the Euro-Mediterranean region and thus increase critical awareness of the status of violent extremism.

This training is part of the project: “Promotion of the role of Syrian, Jordanian, Kurdish and Catalan civil society in the transformation of the causes of the conflict in Syria, through comprehensive strategies for the Prevention of Violent Extremism with a gender perspective (Iraq (Kurdistan), Jordan and Catalonia)”.

The workshop is aimed at the entire university community, both teachers and students, who are interested in this subject, regardless of their qualifications.

The activity has a cost of 40 euros and will have 6 sessions.

Two ECTS credits will be awarded to UAB students and a training certificate will be given at the end of the workshop.

We hope you will be of interest to you and you will attend!
