Over the course of one month, participants will live alongside artists from different disciplines, sharing processes and developing their own projects in a context of dialogue, exchange and collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>The programme aims to create a space where artistic creation emerges from the encounter between diverse practices, cultures and perspectives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Residency fields<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each month will focus on a specific artistic field:<\/p>\n<p>June 2026 &#8211; visual arts and contemporary transmedia art<br \/>\nJuly 2026 &#8211; applied arts, including industrial design<br \/>\nAugust 2026 &#8211; contemporary musical practices<br \/>\nSeptember 2026 &#8211; literary creation (poetry, prose, non-fiction and dramaturgy)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who can apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The call is open to artists who:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>hold citizenship of Spain, Poland or Ukraine<\/li>\n<li>have developed at least one artistic project presented publicly<\/li>\n<li>have a basic level of English<\/li>\n<li>are able to travel to and stay in Ukraine for the full duration of the residency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What the programme offers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A \u20ac750 grant to cover food and personal expenses<br \/>\nAccommodation for the entire residency (single room in a hotel in the Hrymailiv community, Ternopil region)<br \/>\nWorkspace for developing the project<br \/>\nOrganisational and logistical support throughout the stay<br \/>\nParticipation in public events and access to the region\u2019s cultural and historical heritage<br \/>\nA shared environment with international artists and opportunities for interdisciplinary exchange<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key dates<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Application deadline: 3 May 2026 (23:59)<br \/>\nResults announcement: 10 May 2026 (by email and via the organiser\u2019s official channels)<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants can submit their application through the <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/mGaJNti9E99iKiSm9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">designated form<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It is recommended to review <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1c_dZf1CFzDiY04lyVlwBBwEWsoctjbk6\/view\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the full terms and conditions<\/a> before applying.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1QfezHncpYL_jwMGdFviLA1hCYONoVCyT\/view\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Additional information about the residency location<\/a> is also available.<\/p>\n<p>For inquiries about the call, please contact <a href=\"mailto:mfestji@gmail.com\">mfestji@gmail.com <\/a>with the subject \u201cQuestion regarding the \u2018Under One Sky\u2019 competition\u201d by 15 April 2026. Inquiries must be submitted in English or Ukrainian.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, NOVACT provides the email <a href=\"mailto:carlosb@novact.org\">carlosb@novact.org<\/a> for general questions about the call.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the project<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnder One Sky: artistic residency in Vikno\u201d is an international initiative that promotes artistic creation and intercultural dialogue, fostering collaboration between artists from different contexts.<\/p>\n<p>The project is led by the Ukrainian organisation Art Festival \u201cYi\u201d, in partnership with AYA Found (Poland) and NOVACT (Spain).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Safety<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The residency will take place in an area considered safe for cultural activities. The organisers will follow relevant safety protocols and continuously monitor the situation. Participants will receive practical information before arrival and throughout their stay, and adjustments to the programme may be made if necessary to ensure safety and well-being.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Funding<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This project is co-funded by the European Union.
