Al-Himaya (protection in Arabic) a meeting between human rights defenders, experts in the fight against repression and specialists in control and surveillance technologies in the Euro-Mediterranean region.

The purpose of the seminar is to facilitate the exchange of ideas and encourage the development of a coordinated response to the growth of new methodologies implemented against civil society. On the other hand, it also aims to explore the impact of these technologies on human rights defenders, both individually and collectively, in order to promote mechanisms and tools to mitigate these dangers.
