NOVACT launches call for the external final evaluation of the HARAKA project in Tunisia
A learning-focused evaluation centred on feminist processes, participation and sustainability in a shrinking civic space.
NOVACT has opened a call for an external final evaluation of the HARAKA project, Advancing women’s rights in Tunisia. The evaluation is conceived not only as an accountability exercise, but as a deep learning process aimed at analysing feminist practices, collective dynamics and long-term sustainability.
Implemented in partnership with Tunisian feminist organisations ATFD and Joussour, HARAKA has worked to strengthen feminist leadership, decentralised organising and protection mechanisms for women human rights defenders in a context of democratic backsliding and increasing attacks on civic space.
The evaluation will focus on:
- Feminist processes and methodologies rather than purely quantitative results
- Participation, ownership and sustainability of collective spaces
- Lessons learned, good practices and operational recommendations
- The mapping of regional feminist allies as a strategic tool for future interventions
- Special attention will be given to intergenerational dialogue, protection strategies and the consolidation of a critical, articulated feminist civic space.
NOVACT invites experienced evaluators or evaluation teams with:
- A strong background in gender, human rights and feminist movements
- Proven experience in participatory and learning-oriented evaluations
- Knowledge of the Tunisian or North African context
