We have started the cycle of accompaniment and training for the staff of MOMKIN’s intervention centres!

These first 3 days have been attended by more than 50 participants, including 41 women, from 7 different youth centres in 6 regions of northern Tunisia.

We are committed to a holistic approach by working in parallel with young people and their social and institutional environment. Therefore, we share practices and establish exchange networks between these professionals in charge of Tunisian youth centres.

The aim is to reinforce the accompaniment and involvement of these practitioners so that they actively promote the role of young people in the prevention of violent conflicts in their communities

In these first sessions we have:

  • Participatively approved the programme for the whole of 2024.
  • Framed the logic of the programme within the framework of Human Rights.
  • Shared practices and tools.
  • Established a network of exchange between professionals in charge of Tunisian youth centres.

MOMKIN is an international cooperation project to reinforce the central role of youth and creativity in peacebuilding. Implemented by civil society associations (Novact, FSUB, Mass’Art, Joussour and ADO+) in close collaboration with local and regional public institutions, it is funded by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation and the Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation.
